For the first time last year Quick ‘20 had a Sizzling Final Weekend. This came from a joint initiative of, the Quick '20 administration, the TC, the JC, the activities committee and the organization of the International E-tournament. And what a successfully weekend it was too. To everyone’s delight, this year the initiative has been picked up again. So in addition to the International E-tournament there will also be the following activities:
Friday May 22nd - 18:00 Fabri League final round
The youngest pupils of Quick '20 play, during the year, an internal competition on Friday evenings. Great names such as Juventus, Barcelona and Manchester United compete for the big cup. Friday May 22nd is the final round and then we will find out which team can call themselves the Fabri League champions. After the last game there is an awards ceremony for the players, leaders and supporters. The evening will end with a spectacular closing party including DJ.
Saturday, May 23rd - 17:00 Farewell Game Quick '20 1 Vs All Stars
At 17:00 on the main pitch there is a farewell match for all the stopping and leaving players and coaches from the 1st selection. The 1st selection will play against a so-called All Stars team featuring players who have played for and sometimes against Quick ‘20 over the past 15 years. This contest will be followed by another great party in the canteen with a DJ and a folk singer.
Sunday, May 24th - 13:00 Champions Parade
At 13:00, on the main pitch, there will be the traditional Champion parade. Where all the autumn and spring champions from the youth teams of Quick '20, are put in the Spotlight. They all will receive a medal, do a lap of honor and finally receive a treat in the canteen.
Sunday, May 24th - 14:30 Final International E-tournament
At 14:30, following the championship parade, then we have the icing on the cake. The grand finale of the International E-tournament site (www.e-toernooi.nl).
Who will be the 2015 winner will it be RSC Anderlecht again, the proud 2014 winner or will it be your team?
Since 2012, Quick '20 football club has annually organizes an international youth tournament for players under the age of 11.
At the Vondersweijde sports park in Oldenzaal, on 1 and 2 of june 2024, 28 teams from 10 different countries will battle it out for the title.
In addition to the sporting goals, the tournament organization is committed to playing a connecting role between the teams, the leaders of the different teams, themselves, Quick '20 and the people of Oldenzaal. So catch more than 120 players’ families on the evening of the 20st of May in down town Oldenzaal. That weekends all the hotels and restaurants will packed and people will really see The Smile of Twente.
That evening there will also be an opportunity to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the city center. New acquaintances will be made and knowledge will be passed on between the trainers and team leaders of the different teams.
Besides bringing in top teams from all over Europe, it is important to involve regional amateur teams in the international tournament. It goes without saying that sportsmanship and respect are of paramount importance, as these principles are reflected in what Quick '20 stands for, namely "Training and development, standing central in the community '
