The JO11-1 selection of Quick '20 has been in the top of the main class for years and every year E1 players make the transition to FC Twente. Last season, 3 players left us and are playing for FC Twente. A sign that youth training at Quick '20 is strong. For a long time, JO11-1 has had 2 girls in the team. A sign that the girls can handle the level of the boys. Last season the team played for the first time an autumn and a spring championship. This season they become champions in the autumn competition.
The highlight of their season, is their own international E-tournament, which is held again this year for the sixth time. Preparing for such a tournament, involving 28 top teams from 10 different countries, is therefore very seriously addressed. According to insiders, our International U11 is one of Europe's best-placed tournaments. This is of course a big compliment to the organization.
In addition to regular competition, cup and practice matches, they have also played 8x8 practice matches against clubs from the region. Eg. ATC, Losser, De Esch and Bon. Boys. All this in preparation for their own International U11 tournament.
Last season, Quick achieved a very respectable 17th place during the tournament. Hopefully there will achieve at least the same placing this year. If they do then they will have done a fantastic job.
