Next weekend it is time for the 10th edition of the Quick '20 International U11 Tournament. The organization has done everything to make it as cool and exciting as the previous editions including a fantastic field with 2 8 teams from 11 countries including top teams like Chelsea FC, Schalke '04, Ajax, Anderlecht, Feyenoord, Honved Budapest and many more. Below is an overview of the program for the entire weekend on Sportpark Vondersweijde at Quick '20.
Friday 2 June welcoming teams and Fabri League final
On Friday, June 2, most of the teams will arrive and will be received and accommodated at Quick '20 by more than 100 host families.
In the evening, the final matches of the Fabrileague will also take place at Quick '20 and the youngest Quick '20 youth will be in action on the fields followed by the award ceremony in the club building.
Saturday, June 3: Opening tournament, pool matches and sponsor drinks
Saturday morning at approximately 09:55 the opening of the tournament will take place on the main field. 28 teams will be introduced to everyone with this year's mayor of Oldenzaal Patrick Welman as a special guest. From 10:30 the pool matches will then take place with the final match from 16:10 to 16:30. During the afternoon from 15:30 there will be a cozy business drink for all sponsors but as far as we are concerned, everyone is of course welcome to come and enjoy a drink, a snack and music by singer Robyn Ankone.
Sunday, June 4 quarter and semi-finals, Quick '20 champions parade, the grand final and awards ceremony.
From Sunday morning 09:30 the qualifying and final matches will take place with at least the quarter-finals at 10:10, the semi-finals at 11:30 and the grand final at 14:15 on the main field immediately followed by the prize-giving ceremony and the closing of the tournament.
From 12:45 to 13:45 the traditional Quick '20 Champions Parade will also take place on the main field where all youth champions of the 22-23 season will make their lap of honor on the main field.
Entry prizes and raffle
Of course, members and volunteers of Quick '20 and the International U11 tournament as well as host families and sponsors have free admission to this top tournament. Day tickets and/or passe-partouts for both days can be purchased at the box office. There will also be a raffle with some great prizes.

Since 2012, Quick '20 football club has annually organizes an international youth tournament for players under the age of 11.
At the Vondersweijde sports park in Oldenzaal, on 1 and 2 of june 2024, 28 teams from 10 different countries will battle it out for the title.
In addition to the sporting goals, the tournament organization is committed to playing a connecting role between the teams, the leaders of the different teams, themselves, Quick '20 and the people of Oldenzaal. So catch more than 120 players’ families on the evening of the 20st of May in down town Oldenzaal. That weekends all the hotels and restaurants will packed and people will really see The Smile of Twente.
That evening there will also be an opportunity to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the city center. New acquaintances will be made and knowledge will be passed on between the trainers and team leaders of the different teams.
Besides bringing in top teams from all over Europe, it is important to involve regional amateur teams in the international tournament. It goes without saying that sportsmanship and respect are of paramount importance, as these principles are reflected in what Quick '20 stands for, namely "Training and development, standing central in the community '
